About ray a. brown
Throughout his career, Ray A. Brown has skillfully managed hundreds of thousands of admission applications (and hand-signed every decision!). Demonstrating his exceptional leadership, he has overseen budgets ranging from $4 million to ~$200 million, consistently surpassing enrollment targets and setting new standards for excellence.
Ray's track record establishes him as one of the most accomplished Deans of Admissions and Financial Aid in the nation. Most recently, Ray was the Interim Vice President for Enrollment (Financial Aid) at Pomona College, one of the most selective universities in the United States.
He was also a Member, Regional Council at ACT, President at Texas Association for Admission Counseling (TACAC), Delegate, Nationally Elected, at the Guidance and Admission Assembly Council, The College Board. He was a distinguished member of the Southern Consortium, now the Associated Colleges of the South.
Ray graduated with honors from the University of Michigan and Concordia University, Chicago. He also attended the University of Texas at Austin and Trinity College, both of which he was a competitive collegiate tennis student-athlete.
He takes pleasure in spending time with his family, indulging in reading and relishing the sport of baseball.
